Guarnaschelli got her first taste of food experiences while watching recipes that she'd been editing in the cookbooks of her mother being test at home. Guarnaschelli was a guest on Food Network's Iron Chef America where she competed against Cat Cora in the Farmers Market Battle of 2007. Seit then she is a judge of the program.
